American Kickboxing Academy® is proud to present an advanced children’s martial arts program that integrates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, American Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Judo all into one system known as the American Fighting System.
Developed by Javier Mendez, the program emphasizes safety and self defense. Our goal is to create a positive and fun environment in which children can learn Martial Arts. Through hard work and dedication, children will work their way up a belt ranking system giving them a sense of accomplishment.
The program is overseen by owner, Javier Mendez, a former two-time ISKA World Kickboxing Champion. The program’s instructors include 15 year AKA produced fighters Travis Johnson and Gary Owens. Our elite grappling system is taught by UFC veteran Jon Fitch, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt Aaron Singh, blue belt Anthony Dariano, brown belt Wayne Phillips and purple belt Vince Arevalo.
