An accomplished college wrestler, Josh Koscheck made the smooth transition to MMA after he started training at American Kickboxing Academy. His biggest break was when appeared on the original season of the Ultimate Fighter, where he would famously be labeled as a villain after several confrontations with Chris Leben. Koscheck would become one of the more successful fighters off the Ultimate Fighter, winning his fights in dominating fashion with his wrestling ability and his new-found knockout ability. He would earn a UFC welterweight title shot against champion Georges St-Pierre, where Koscheck would come up short after fighting with a broken orbital bone for the entire fight. Love him or hate him, Koscheck has been become one of the most watched fighters in all of MMA.
